Noticing li - beach walk

This afternoon we took the opportunity, between storms, to take a stroll down Del Monte Beach—and find a couple of new geocaches as well. The light was marvelous, the air fresh and balmy, and it felt good to stretch our legs. I took some photos. (Click to see them large on black.)

Del Monte Beach looking at Wharf No. 2,
the working wharf—which is where cache no. 2 was,
out at the end

View from the cache, looking back down the wharf
Monterey Fish Co. seems to own most of the wharf

But then there's Monterey Abalone Co.,
which farms abalone, as well, apparently, as
sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and whelks,
under the wharf
Looking across Monterey Bay: Moss Landing is on the left
Milo enjoyed himself too!

I enjoyed the abstractions of the water . . .
and of water, horizon, and sky

Another happy dog
Goodnight, moon
