This afternoon we took the opportunity, between storms, to take a stroll down Del Monte Beach—and find a couple of new geocaches as well. The light was marvelous, the air fresh and balmy, and it felt good to stretch our legs. I took some photos. (Click to see them large on black.)

Del Monte Beach looking at Wharf No. 2,
the working wharf—which is where cache no. 2 was,
out at the end |

View from the cache, looking back down the wharf |
 |
Monterey Fish Co. seems to own most of the wharf |
 |
But then there's Monterey Abalone Co.,
which farms abalone, as well, apparently, as
sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and whelks,
under the wharf |

Looking across Monterey Bay: Moss Landing is on the left |

Milo enjoyed himself too! |
 |
I enjoyed the abstractions of the water . . . |
 |
and of water, horizon, and sky |

Another happy dog |

Goodnight, moon |
