Simply art today, by British-Australian artist Rachel Newling. Known mainly for her linocuts, she focuses on the wildlife of her adopted country, where she has lived since 1982. If you are interested in her process, she provides
a detailed illustrated description of the making of a linocut on her website, as well as many more examples of her work.

I very much enjoy the way she sees—and then renders. She makes me want to go to Australia and see all these plants and birds, and other animals, in person.
