The camera that I wrote about a few days ago as having not arrived, finally arrived! It's the replacement order. The original order is still out in the ether somewhere. I wonder if it will ever turn up.
I've managed to charge and install the battery, find a memory card, set image quality, and take my first picture! I've also determined that Lightroom CC processes Olympus RAW files (.ORF), which is good, but for the time being I think I'll shoot both RAW and JPG, for simplicity's sake.
And now: to study the 500-plus-page Mastering the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II user manual that a friend recommended. It's a good thing I don't have much to do this week except pack!
Here's a test shot—on auto. ISO 1600, but not too terribly noisy.
